Karina Chuquimia:

Meet the Founder

Karina Chuquimia is an international lawyer dual-qualified in Argentina and Brazil, founder of Immigration Consulting Brazil, Immigration Consulting Argentina and IntGrows.

Building Across Borders

Born in Argentina, Karina began her legal career there from the start of her law degree. After relocating to Brazil, she joined one of the country’s top law firms in the corporate immigration department — an experience that included working at the Rio 2016 Olympics and defined her approach to large-scale international mobility.

In 2016, she founded Immigration Consulting in Brazil — today an AI-first global mobility company serving clients from 30+ countries, specializing in corporate immigration, expat programs, talent mobility and digital nomad visas, with NomadApp Visa as its proprietary AI-powered platform. She later expanded the model to Argentina with Immigration Consulting Argentina, now extending its services to Uruguay in 2026. To complete the ecosystem, she co-founded IntGrows, a Softlanding company helping global businesses and entrepreneurs establish themselves in Brazil, Argentina and Latam.

Recognition

In 2025, Immigration Consulting was selected as one of the Top 50 Breakout Startups at Web Summit Rio out of nearly 1,400 companies.

Leadership & Expertise

Karina holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Buenos Aires with specialization in Labor Law — the foundation of her career in international and corporate immigration. Building on that, she pursued advanced training across three disciplines: an MBA in People Management & Leadership from UFRJ, a certification in International Human Resources Management from Coventry University, and a Master XPAT in Global Mobility, a specialized certification reserved for senior professionals in the corporate relocation industry.

She is an appointed member of the Commission of Immigration Law and International Labor Mobility of the OAB Rio de Janeiro (2025–2027) and an active member of WERC (Worldwide ERC), the leading global association for talent mobility and corporate relocation professionals worldwide.

Frequent speaker at international events on corporate immigration, global mobility and cross-border entrepreneurship in Latam, and mentor to founders and young professionals building international careers.
